Hull #6740

U-40

The Miss Bardahl continued its legacy of championships with this new hull that debuted in 1967. Following the tragic passing of Ron Musson in a crash in 1966, Billy Schumacher was tabbed to pilot the new hull for Ole Bardahl. The boat was immediately a contender, taking the championship in two straight years. The boat was sold after Ole Bardahl dropped out of the spot, and eventually was destroyed in the 1971 Gold Cup as the Hallmark Homes.

In 1967, the boat made it to all 8 events. It took a win in its debut in Tampa, captured the Gold Cup in Seattle, and won 6 of 8 events to become the national high point champion.
