Hull #7025

The cabover Pride of Pay'n Pak made its debut in 1970, uniquely powered by twin hemi's. However, the project never lived up to its billing, as the boat struggled. It was reconfigured to a conventional hull with a Merlin power for the 1972 season, and then was sold to Bernie Little and the Miss Budweiser team. From 1973-1978 it raced off and on as the Miss Budweiser, as it is now restored to.

In 1970, Tommy Fults and Ron Larsen piloted the boat, as it raced in 7 of the 8 races that year. Its best finish was a 5th in Detroit, as the team finished 7th in national high points.
