Hull #8255
The #8255 hull was one of the most-sponsored boats in history. The unique wingless boat campaigned under a variety of owners until its retirement in 1992.
In 1982, Scott Pierce drove the Oberto, the fourth boat to be sponsored by the Seattle-based sausage company. The boat campaigned at the northwest events, and finshed a best of 8th in the Tri-Cities. The Oberto finished 16th in national high points.
