The Spirit of Qatar was the latest hydro from the Ellstrom Team, and made its debut in 2014 in the Tri-Cities. The boat showed promise, but flipped in its second race in Seattle when driver Kip Brown slid into a roostertail. After sitting on the sidelines for a couple of years, the boat now is run by the Strong Racing team.
